Istanbul’s Pera Museum to Host Scenes of Istanbul Exhıbıtıon : The “Hippodrome/Atmeydani: Scenes of Istanbul’s History”
Istanbul's Pera Museum will host -scenes of Istanbul- exhibition as of February 16, a museum statement said on Tuesday.
The "Hippodrome/Atmeydani: Scenes of Istanbul's History" exhibition will open at the Pera Museum on February 16.
Archeological artifacts, architectural sketches, paintings, photographs and daily objects will be on display in the exhibition.
The mentioned square in Sultanahmet neighborhood was a scene of horse races during the Byzantine era, games and festivals during the Ottoman era, and some significant incidents during the Republic era.
The exhibition will stay open till April 18.

Tuesday - Saturday 10.00 - 19.00
Sunday 12.00 - 18.00
Museum is closed on Mondays.
